At Bountiful Lands, we believe the fundamental component of a Free Market Society is property ownership. It is our Mission to expand the opportunity of property ownership to all those who have a desire to be part of the Great American Dream, and, in particular, to those families that may not have had this opportunity without our innovative approaches to business.

Our Story

In 1967 John Fazzini began a journey, a journey that would lead him to found a company dedicated to providing an opportunity for all people to own property; that company is known today as Bountiful Lands.

John got his start in real estate in Southeast Florida, specifically Miami and the surrounding communities. He and his associates sold and developed land from as far North as Stuart down nearly to the Keys. Lighthouse Point is one of the many communities that they were involved in.

John is from Central Florida and in 1971 he had a desire to return to the home of his childhood and pursue his real estate ambitions there. One of the first things he noticed upon his return was that not many individual families owned land, it was being held by a few companies or wealthy individuals. John knew from experience that owning land is one of the key steps to the success of any individual or family, and he believes that the opportunity to buy and possess land should be open to everyone. It is his dream to make that open opportunity a reality.

In partnership with his father Silvio and his brother Corky, John founded Sil’s Realty in 1971. They purchased large tracts of land, and by building the necessary infrastructure, developed the land into acreage tracts and offered the land for sale. One of the factors keeping people from being able to purchase land at that time was a lack of available financing. Traditional lending institutions would typically require large down payments for home or land purchases, and at that time they did not recognize the value of smaller acreage parcels. The average working family could not often afford a large down payment, but did have the means to make a steady monthly payment. John Fazzini recognized this and the solution to making his vision a reality was put within his reach. By offering very low or no money down financing for the land, John was able to expand the opportunity of purchasing property to those who may not ever have had it. He recognized the value of the land, and more importantly, the positive impact that owning that land would have on the families buying it. Land ownership provides more than just a place to build a home. The equity that an owner builds up in land can provide security for financing. Land is an excellent investment; do you know that a one-acre lot that was purchased twenty years ago for $2,990.00 can now be worth over $40,000!

In 1980 the three founders of Sil’s Realty decided to split up to pursue different opportunities. John was steadfast in his desire to turn his vision into reality. He formed Bountiful Lands, and continued to bring the opportunity of land ownership all individuals. To date Bountiful Lands has developed over 20,000 acres of land bringing the joy of property ownership to over 3,000 families.

Bountiful Lands has branched out in the 25 years since its inception. We now do more intensive developments to accommodate the first-time homebuyer market. We do vertical development in addition to the horizontals. We have begun construction on an Airpark Community. But it is large-scale acreage type developments, aimed at providing the individual an opportunity to own land that has always been, and will continue to be the backbone of Bountiful Lands.

Our Town

Bountiful Lands, Inc. is located in the thriving town of Lake Wales, Florida. Our city has been voted the 2003 "Florida's Friendliest Small Town" by Florida Monthly Magazine readers. We are home to Historic Bok Sanctuary, a National Historic Landmark featuring beautifully landscaped gardens, a carillon tower, and the charming Pinewood Estate. Lake Wales is located in Polk County which is dotted with 550 lakes of all sizes for a variety of aquatic activities.

Central Florida

Disney World, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, and many other attractions are located in and around Central Florida. And wherever you stay, the beach is never more than 90 minutes away.
